The annual national conference for the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program will be held April 11 - 13 at the Monona Terrace, Madison, WI.
This conference is for the newbie to the SBIR program as well as the seasoned proposal veteran. Representatives from all of the federal agencies that participate in the SBIR program will be providing the information you need to decide if the SBIR program is right for you and your business, how to approach the SBIR application process, what happens after your Phase I proposal is funded, transition to Phase II programs, and post-SBIR commercialization. The host of the conference, University of Wisconsin-Extension Conference Centers, will also be providing "networking and meeting scheduling software to pre-schedule meetings with attendees including federal program managers, technology entrepreneurs, large company representatives, and researchers." The conference also includes local tours, seminars, and workshops.
