The Department of Transportation (DoT) has released its 2011 SBIR solicitation including specific topics, with a closing date of December 13, 2010.  Like previous years, the topic list is short, and not all of the entities within DoT have topics included.  This year's proposal topics are:

111.1-FH3            Oversize Vehicle Detection and Warning System

111.1-FH4            Intelligent Ridesharing in Real-Time

PIPELINE AND HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SAFETY ADMINISTRATION  —  (2 AWARDS)

11.1-PH1              Study, develop and demonstrate advanced deformation measurement tools for transmission and or distribution pipelines

11.1-PH2              Development of a non-destructive, quantitative residual stress assessment tool
