NIH SBIR Solicitation Released - Due Date 11/9/09 E-mail

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have released a new SBIR solicitation with a proposal due date of 11/9/09.

This solicitation lays out specific project topics of interest, rather than broad topics that allow investigators to propose topics that fall under the general topic umbrella. Like most NIH opportunities, proposals have to be submitted electronically through Grants.gov.  Phase I programs generally have a budget of $100,000 and a project period of 6 months, while Phase II programs have a budget of $750,000 and a project period of up to two years.

For more information on this solicitation, visit the NIH web site.
