Link of the Week: Linked In |

This morning I discovered the website Linked In. It's similar to some social networking sites, but it's specifically geared towards the professional, as a way of expanding your network through people you already know. After signing up and creating a profile, I did people searches based on my previous employment and my college years. I was pleased to find several people that I already knew, and I hope to explore the site a little more. There are mechanisms for members to contact each other through the people in their network, to share opportunities, to look for jobs or for people to hire, and there is a section of the site where people can ask and answer questions about a wide range of topics. Definitely worth checking out!
